Adekunle Gold Announces December 26 Concert at National Theatre

Nigerian Afrobeats star Adekunle Gold is set to headline a major concert at the Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and the Creative Arts, formerly known as the National Theatre, in Lagos on December 26, 2026.

The upcoming concert, reportedly titled “The Greatest Showman,” is expected to bring together music lovers for a memorable end-of-year musical experience.

According to reports announcing the event, Adekunle Gold will perform alongside the MUSON Orchestra and his band, The 79th Element. The concert is scheduled to run from 6 PM to 11 PM.

Ticket presales are expected to begin on November 5, 2026, while general ticket sales are scheduled to commence on November 6.

The announcement comes after Adekunle Gold’s successful December 26, 2025, performance at the renovated National Theatre, where he reportedly sold out the venue. That concert featured guest appearances from notable Nigerian entertainers, including Olamide, Davido, Adewale Ayuba and Yinka Ayefele.

With another major performance planned for the same venue, expectations are building among fans eager to experience the singer’s live musical performance once again.

Adekunle Gold, known for his unique blend of Afrobeats, highlife and contemporary African sounds, remains one of Nigeria’s prominent music exports.
