Nollywood stars Moyo Lawal and Alesh Sanni are counting down to the release of popular crossdresser Bobrisky.
In April, Bobrisky was arrested by EFCC for abuse of Naira. He was arraigned before a Lagos court, where he pleaded guilty and pleaded with the judge to give him another chance with a promise to use his social media platforms to educate his followers against Naira abuse. Unfortunately, the judge didn’t excuse his behaviour, and he was sentenced to 6 months in jail at Ikoyi Correctional Center.
This week would make it six months since the crossdresser was sentenced. In prison terms, six months means three months, as both day and night are counted separately.
Taking to her Instagram page, Moyo Lawal stated that the countdown to the release of her best friend is officially on.
“The countdown is officially on for the original bestie @bobrisky222”.
Calling him Bob of Lagos, Alesh Sanni hailed him for his strength as he believed that God was keeping him there for a reason. He noted how he has been sending him food from his favourite eatery.
“Oh yesssssss, that’s my Bob of Lagos. Counting down. you strong Bob…… I know God is keeping you for a reason …… @bobrisky222 oyaaaaaaaao I don send you those food from @taste_la_toks like we do always …..”.
Recall that when he was sentenced, Alesh had slammed his colleagues who dumped Bobrisky after using him for the promotion of their activities.
Speaking against the silence of his colleagues, Sanni bashed them for not taking a stand for him while he perished away. He noted how every celebrity in Nigeria always loved to have Bobrisky in their event despite his lifestyle, which is not encouraging.
Ahead of his release, Bobrisky has made peace with his former bestfriend, Tonto Dikeh.
