Social media users are divided over award-winning singer Burna Boy’s latest post about Yhemo Lee’s wedding, which many felt is an indirect diss at his rival, Davido.
Following his civil and engagement wedding, Yhemo Lee and his partner, Thayour, shut down Lagos with their traditional wedding ceremony on Saturday, August 30th, 2024.
Reacting to a video from the wedding ceremony in a now-deleted post on his Instagram story, Burna Boy stated that Nigerian weddings are so nice when done right.
“Nigerian weddings are so nice when done right!”.
Many believed that his post was a dig at his rival, Davido, who tied the knot to his longtime partner, Chioma back in June.

It is no longer news that Davido and Burna Boy have been sworn enemies, as they never cease to take a swipe at each other.
Recently, Burna had dissed Davido after a fan advised him to follow his lead and start a family. Responding to him, Burna told him to leave him alone as he questioned if he didn’t see what Davido was facing with one of his baby mamas.
While responding to another fan who faulted him for dissing the singer, he noted how the person didn’t use the best example.
