“I lost a lot of followers for talking about Jesus” – Singer Qing Madi laments

Upcoming Nigerian singer, Qing Madi has lamented over losing thousands of followers over her religious talk.

The singer, who has over 400k followers on Instagram via her story, claimed she lost followers for talking about Jesus Christ. Despite it, she doesn’t regret talking about Christ as she expressed love for all.

“Lol I lost a lot of followers for talking about Jesus Christ.
And from the bottom of my heart, I don’t regret a thing.

Months back, actor, Yul Edochie had sent a message to religious folks, advising them against being too obsessed with it. In a lengthy post on his Instagram page, he avowed that the majority of religion was a scam and was formulated to control the people.

The movie star, claimed that the ways of our forefathers are great as he stated that it was time for us to start going back to our roots, however, he admonished us not to hate anyone because of their religion as we are all humans created by the same God.

This wasn’t the first time, the father of six would give his take on religion. Some years back, Edochie asserted that a large percentage of religion is a “scam”, as religion was created centuries ago by men with the intention of dividing and ruling over others.
