The cause of Nigerian singer Kizz Daniels’ beef with talent manager Ubi Franklin has finally been revealed.
Kizz Daniel had blocked Ubi from Instagram. This surprised many, and to further fuel rumours of a dispute between them, Ubi had taken to a blog’s comment section to question if he should speak out.
Now, Instagram blogger Cute Juls has revealed the cause of their fight and alleged that Ubi had got Kizz Daniel an N150million gig and had demanded a 10% royalty, which Kizz agreed to. Ubi got the deal for him and took out his percentage, which was N15million, and sent the rest to Kizz Daniel.
Kizz, upon receiving the alert, told Ubi to send him the whole money as he wanted to account properly. At first, Ubi refused, but he later obliged after Kizz threatened not to perform at the show. To his surprise, Kizz Daniel had only sent N7.5 million to him, and when Ubi demanded his balance, he made him know that the 10% agreement was between him and his brother.
This created a huge argument as the two hurled insults at themselves, and Ubi even wanted to take legal action. Kizz Daniel blocked Ubi’s phone numbers from his phone, and Ubi returned the favour and unfollowed Kizz Daniel on Instagram. Kizz retaliated by blocking Ubi on his Instagram.

A few months back, Kizz Daniel had clashed with his colleague, Tekno, over the proceeds of their hit song ‘Buga’. Tekno threw the first shot while reacting to an alleged interview Kizz Daniel did, saying Tekno was almost paid a billion Naira from the collaboration. Denying it, he said Kizz Daniel does not have that amount, and Kizz responded by claiming the song rescued Tekno.
