Korra Obidi, others react as Pastor Jerry Eze tops YouTube earnings

Nollywood actor Deyemi Okanlawon and Nigerian-American dancer Korra Obidi have reacted to Pastor Jerry Eze’s recent achievement.

The founder of Streams of Joy and Declaration (NSPPD) topped YouTube earnings in Nigeria. The clergyman had emerged as Nigeria’s highest-earning YouTube creator, amassing over N7 billion through his prayer meetings, which he streams live mainly from the platform.

According to a data curation platform, Playboard, Eze’s daily earnings exceed N7 million, with his highest single-day revenue reaching an extraordinary N21 million on July 16, 2023, due to a surge in viewer traffic. His YouTube channel, which boasts 2.1 million subscribers, has become a digital haven for prayer-seeking individuals in Nigeria and globally.

Reacting to the news, Deyemi Okanlawon noted how what God cannot do doesn’t exist.

“What God cannot do does not exist”.

Twitter personality Solomon Buchi sent a message to the pastor’s haters, telling them to start their own YouTube channels if they think the clergyman is a businessman.

“If you think he’s a businessman, why not start your own channel. Haters”.

Dancer Korra Obidi stated that Pastor Jerry Eze is one billionaire she can’t be mad at, as he has helped many people.

“This is one billionaire I cannot be mad at. He has helped a lot of people”.

This is just another of Pastor Eze’s numerous achievements since entering the Ministry. In 2022, the celebrity pastor shut down London as 70,000 people gathered to worship God with him at the Excel Arena in London.

Reacting to it, Alex Ekubo had sent a message to the celebrity pastor, stating that this is a testament that God remains the greatest. He praised the clergyman for allowing God to use him.

Tonto Dikeh had also expressed pride in him, noting how his groundbreaking achievement manifested God’s calling on him. Praising him, she stated that this is what he has been called to, which is to raise lives and souls for the kingdom.

Actress Ini Edo, who is also a fan of his, had described the pastor as the prophet of our time as she stormed his church for New Year prayers in 2023. Ini Edo compared the clergyman to the biblical Elijah for being a blessing to his generation.

Months back, Ghanaian Bishop Sam Owusu had berated Ghanaians for attending Jerry Eze’s crusade in their country, which had over 60,000 people. Sam Owusu slammed Ghanaians for worshipping Nigeria’s pastors while neglecting their own. He noted how Ghanaians have anointed men of God, yet their people prefer their Nigerian counterparts.
