Nollywood actress Rachael Okonkwo, popularly known as Nkoli Nwa Nsukka, has officially confirmed her appointment as Senior Special Assistant on Film and Creative Industry Development to Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah.
The actress made the announcement on Monday, November 2, 2026, through a statement shared on her Instagram page, expressing gratitude to the governor for the opportunity to serve her home state.
According to Okonkwo, the appointment was granted in September, but she only recently decided to make it public.

She further thanked Governor Peter Mbah for the confidence reposed in her, describing the appointment as more than a title but a call to make a meaningful impact.
Okonkwo’s appointment was part of a wider government announcement made on September 21, 2026, when Governor Mbah approved the appointment of 101 aides across different categories.
