Nollywood actress Destiny Etiko has queried Nigerians for being excited over the new season of Big Brother Naija amid the hardship in the country.
In a since-re-edited post on her Instagram page, she noted how the country is currently under an economic downturn, yet Nigerians still have money for data.
She stated that if Nigerians aren’t complaining, then who is she to complain as she is only concerned for the pøor masses.Destiny noted how the crime rate has increased, and insecurity is the order, yet everyone is calm.

Weeks back, Destiny Etiko had applauded Nigerians for their patience amid the economic hardship. In the wake of the protest in Kenya, she noted how, despite the situation in the country, we still wake up with smiles on our faces, pushing every day. She crowned Nigerians as the most patient country in the world and declared the citizens the VIPs.
Similarly, talent manager Paulo Okoye had also declared Nigerians as one of the most patient countries in the world. During the weekend, the ex-wife of billionaire businessman Musa Danjuma, Caroline Danjuma, lamented over the exorbitant prices of foodstuff as she visited the market. Sharing her market plight, she questioned how Nigerians are coping.
