Davido ft. Aya Nakamura – Yaya Mp3 Download (2026)

Davido reunites musically with French-speaking African superstar Aya Nakamura on “Yaya,” an energetic collaboration that brings Nigerian Afrobeats together with Francophone African influences.

The partnership is not entirely new. Davido and Aya Nakamura have previously worked together, and their chemistry returns on this record with a fresh musical direction.

“Yaya” was created with Davido’s growing connection to Francophone audiences in mind. As his music continues to travel across Africa and Europe, collaborations such as this allow him to connect with listeners beyond the English-speaking Afrobeats market.

The song draws from Afro-makossa influences, giving it a distinctive rhythmic character. Aya’s delivery brings a Francophone flavour to the record, while Davido provides the Nigerian Afrobeats presence that anchors the collaboration.

One of the appealing aspects of “Yaya” is the way the two artists complement each other without attempting to make the song sound like a conventional solo Davido record with a guest appearance. It feels genuinely collaborative.

On Oriadé, “Yaya” represents the international nature of African pop music today. Nigerian and Francophone sounds meet naturally, showing how artists from different parts of the continent can create music that crosses language and geographical boundaries.

For fans of African pop, Afrobeats and Francophone music, “Yaya” is one of the album’s more adventurous collaborations.
