“This life, never look down on anyone” – Nigerians react to throwback of Olamide Baddoo

Nigerians have reacted to an old photo of popular Nigerian artiste Olamide Adedeji, professionally known as Olamide or Baddoo, that surfaced online.

A news outlet shared the photo on social media. It captured the singer and other college students.

The photo, taken in an unknown location, captured the singer flanked by his friends in graduating outfits at an undescribed institution.

The photo focused on the singer’s appearance before his rise to stardom. It shows Olamide looking unclean and in the lowest of outfits.

Nigerians have reacted to the beautiful growth of the singer, with many singing his accolades while others have reflected on the fact that no one cannot rise.

Sometime back, Nigerians reacted to a chart that expressed the impact of Olamide on the careers of other famous music artists.

A chart that made rounds on social media captured the names of fast-rising music stars and already-made music artists that Olamide’s career had influenced.

The chart includes music artistes such as Zlatan, Naira Marley, T.I Blaze, Bella Shmurda, Portable, Skales, Phyno, Jaido P, Asake, Lil Kesh, Adekunle Gold, Fireboy, CDQ and others.

The chart, compiled by a social media user identified as Holuwaroyal, revealed how each artiste claimed that Olamide changed their life and career.

Kemi Filani recalls that singer Ahmed Ololade, known as Asake’s epic reaction to Olamide’s influence on his career, sparked reactions online.

An old video that resurfaced online captured when Asake burst into tears when Olamide jumped on one of his songs and made him a signee under the YBNL record label.

The video also captured an elated Asake running in the streets over his track’s success.

Recalling the mind-blowing incident, Asake revealed how one phone call from Olamide changed his career.
